Easy TRX2-IS

Operation
Like ist predecessor the easyTRX2-IS receives ClassA and ClassB signals and transmits your own boat’s data in accordance with valid standards.

We added some new features, indeed:
The gadget comes with a USB-port now. You can select between 38400 or 4800 Baud data rate. There are 8 LED’s for a convenient display of every active feature. The easyTRX2-IS has got an independant CPA alarm algorithm to interpret incoming data immediately. TRX2-IS can also be used as a source for external CPA alarm signal as well. The easyTRX2-IS has got a SD Card Recorder to enregister all data like it’s done by a “BlackBox”. Further units wth different Baud rate can be connected by means of an integrated multiplex input. Last but not least there are various separated cables harness to activate “Silent Mode” or “Mayday AIS” by an external switch.

In contrast to easyTRX2 the easyTRX2-IS is provided with an integrated antenna-spliter. By means of this splitter with integrated RF-signal amplifier, physical losses are eliminated, which is unique in nowadays market. The use of the integrated splitter makes the instalation of the unit to the existing VHF antenna very easy.

Requirements for the easyTRX2-IS
You only need yoour existing VHF antenna and a GPS antenna.

EasyTRX2-IS and gadgets that fit together
Your PC must work on WIN XP Sp2 and have screen resolution 1024*768 at least for configuration. Plotter or PC software have to be intermate-able to AIS to display incoming AIS data on screen. A MMSI number is required to broadcast data - you will get it from national authorities. Your distributor will program your easyTRX2-IS for that MMSI number.
